These Yak55's were cut out using an aluminum template made by a precision computer router table, if you are interested and getting one of these templates contact the club, templates run about $185.00.
If you are looking for that extra power in a Blue Fomie, take a look at the Hofman Engine this
puppy is a little heavier and a little more pricy than the standard Turnigy Engine, but man what power, and don't worry about the extra weight, the engine can pull the fomie around like nobody's business.

We just built a few blue foam Yak 55's with a revised set of plans, adapted to our way of building and assembly, from RC Group. I tried one Wednesday morning at one of our local rinks, it looks like a winner also, we'll let you know Sunday how well it flies, the all up weight is around 6.2 oz.
